Synopsis:
A musical vaudeville of acts depicting Roxie Hart’s rise as a wannabe-star turned murderess. Facing the noose and enabled by sensationalist press, crooked lawyers, and an instatiable thirst for attention, she carves out a moment in the limelight, much to the chagrin of the other merry murderesses of the Cook County Jail.
